The last active volcanoes in Germany became extinct 12,900 years ago in the Eifel region. Today, an air-entrained, gravel-like mineral made from purely siliceous raw materials - natural pumice - can be found directly beneath the earth's surface around the former volcanoes. After extraction and refinement into screened pumice, this ecologically excellent raw material becomes an innovative lightweight aggregate and an ecologically valuable substrate. Dr Riffer screened pumice is a purely mineral product that is only screened and not washed, so this product also contains small amounts of organic matter, basalt, grit, etc.
Our screened pumice is a natural additive for special requirements for high-quality soil improvement. The pumice ensures long-term soil aeration combined with high water and nutrient retention.
Whether in potted or tub plants, mixed into potting soil, in cactus substrates, as indoor substrates, used pure for hydroponics or, due to its low weight, for green roofs etc., pumice can be used in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. Palletised goods
1. palletised goods are delivered using a lifting platform truck and pallet truck. Unloading takes place at ground level on firm ground, free kerbside.
2. please always ensure that the goods can be received at the agreed delivery date at the corresponding delivery location. The forwarding agent will contact you by telephone to arrange an appointment. If acceptance is not possible due to absence, subsequent costs will be incurred for a new delivery.
3. the unloading of the goods by the carrier to another location, e.g. in front of the front door, in the garden, in the garage or on unpaved roads, etc. is not part of the carrier's scope of services. Such services may be provided by customer service, but can neither be claimed nor complained about.
